Looking for free teletherapy materials to use in your virtual speech therapy sessions? Here’s a list of online resources and websites where you can find activities targeting multiple speech and language goals. The best part is, they’re free to use! Here are 5 of my favorite sites for free teletherapy activities for virtual speech therapy.
1. TPT (Teachers Pay Teachers)
First off is Teachers Pay Teachers, also called TPT for short. TPT is full of useful freebies, resources and materials for various types of educators including speech therapists. What I love about it is that the TPT resources are created BY speech therapists! Whether you’re doing individual therapy, group therapy, in-person sessions, or teletherapy, there are a variety of freebies available across many different shops so you’re sure to find something related to your therapy goals. Check out two of my most popular freebies that both include print and digital versions!
On top of that, you can follow creators’ stores to be notified of new resources including freebies, or be the first to know when resources go on sale. Take a look at some of my free articulation therapy resources!

2. Quia
This website has a bunch of free speech and language therapy games. I used Quia when I first started practicing and it was easy to find quick activities for teletherapy. They have games for articulation, language, and more. With a bit of searching on that site, you can find fun and interactive activities to engage your students!
3. Match the Memory
Match the Memory is a great website with tons of pre-made memory match games. Better yet, you can make your own memory match game tailored to your speech therapy goals. Although it can be a good free resource, I would highly recommend vetting the targets and pictures prior to using the memory match as sometimes the deck focuses on a letter rather than a sound, or includes words that may not be a good fit for your students.
4. ABCYa
ABCya is a great website filled with free educational games. I found it especially useful when working with younger children. My favorites are the “Make a –” series of games that I’ve incorporated in my sessions (e.g. “Make a Pizza”, “Make a Cupcake”, etc.). They’re great to target a variety of goals like following directions, prepositions, or spatial concepts. To access the games you will need to create an account that can be free or paid. Just note that the free version will have ads that may be distracting.
5. Jeopardy Labs
This website allows you to build a Jeopardy template and customize a game of Jeopardy to suit your speech and language therapy goals. I’ve used it a few times when targeting articulation and language skills with older students and they really liked it! Jeopardy is also good because the one activity can last you a good chunk of your session time! It’s free and there are some pre-made games you can use. It’s a fun way to practice targets, although, it can be time consuming and requires quite a bit of prep beforehand.
We’ve covered 5 sites for free teletherapy activities for virtual speech therapy. Of course, there are many more but these are the 5 I use the most! Which ones are your favorites? Send me an email at [email protected]! I’d love to know!
